This is an official AR-GO, which stands for "Automatic Recognition To GO" online platform. It was developed within the framework of the DIGI-AR project to support the implementation of the six-party agreement between the Baltic States and the Benelux countries on the mutual automatic recognition of higher education qualifications.

In 2021, the Baltic and Benelux countries agreed on a treaty for the automatic recognition of higher education qualifications. This multilateral treaty, the first of its kind in Europe, enables qualifications obtained in Belgium, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands to be automatically recognized across these countries. After coming into force, the treaty is also open to other countries in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) for accession.

AR-GO platform ensures trust, transparency and smooth application of automatic recognition. It serves as a central portal, offering standardized information about nationally recognized qualifications and their comparability, official status, rights of qualification holders as well as web links to other authorised information sources which is related to national bodies regulating higher education systems. Graduates, employers, universities, and the general public can use the portal to generate customized qualification comparability statements for specific qualifications. This creates a “one-stop shop” for the treaty’s implementation, both for current signatories and any future ones.

In addition to that the portal provides structured overview of national education systems which can be found in Country Education Profiles tab on the menu list. It functions as an information source providing key facts about education systems of those countries who joined the Baltic-Benelux Treaty. Portal is also supplied with news section which is designed to bring to our attention most important current developments and events in context of automatic recognition  which is not limited to Baltic-Benelux treaty.

As a joint initiative of the DIGI-AR project partners, the Benelux Secretariat, national ENIC/NARIC centres, AR-GO contributes to greater transparency, mobility, and trust in the automatic recognition process within the Baltic and Benelux regions.
